Job Type: Full-Time/Regular
Starting Date: ASAP
Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 (Salary commensurate with experience, skills and education)
Designs, tests and maintains large-scale electronic systems equipment for use in military and manufacturing, by developing and testing components; such as Instrument, Test Program Set, Test Equipment Design and Development. May use computer-assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods and testing properties. Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching, testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods testing finished products and system capabilities. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a top level contributor/specialist.
Experience and Skills:
Education: A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Required Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience associated with engineering functions as related to design, test, or installation.
Desired Experience: Experience with C/C++, C#, OrCad, Test Program Set Development, Test Equipment Development, Instrument Design and Development and or Circuit Cord Design and development.
