Job Description
Job Summary:
Lead a team of multi-functional employees with responsibility to maximize company results in Power Systems Industry - electric power, marine, industrial, petroleum. Serve as the senior leader for the company and engage in overall company strategic direction. Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key customers. Drive continuous company improvement and growth.

Essential Functions:
• Lead company's Power Systems Business (engineered products, power rental, used equipment, engineering field service, start-up and commissioning, electric power service).
• Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with major customers to achieve desired financial and market share objectives.
• Maximize business results in area of responsibility by leveraging company resources and external business partners.
• Demonstrate leadership skills to motivate, develop, and retain a high performing work group.
• Manage profit/loss statement for power systems business portfolio.
• Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure strategic and tactical alignment.
• Travel and make regular visits to customer and region branch locations.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, and values.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Communicate and teach "value selling" concepts to work group and customers.
• Understand key competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Identify opportunities for company performance improvements and lead effort to improve.
• Reinforce and teach company strategic plan and company values.
• Serve as the local company leader in a specified geographic territory.
• Identify and mentor high potential employees.

Key Performance Metrics:
• Customer satisfaction measured by the Daniels Group Transaction Survey Net Promoter Score.
• Employee satisfaction measured by an annual employee opinion survey.
• Power Systems financial performance including: revenue, profit after direct, operating profit, ROOA, inventory turnover, rental utilization and operational absorption ratio.
• Caterpillar Dealer Benchmark Guide (CDBG) relative performance.
• Market share for prime product and product support
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Must have strong business acumen to manage division profit/loss performance.
• Must have strong human relations skills and the ability to work with people from all backgrounds and cultures.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership skills including: motivation, mentoring, execution, vision.
• Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills.
• Strong sales skills/experience and a good understanding of product support business.

Requirements Education and Experience:
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Bechelors degree and 10 years of related industry experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and expereince.
• Senior level management experience.
