Position Summary: Responsible for the efficient and accurate production of Foods, Soups and Sauce products, while maintaining superior quality standards that meet or exceed customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gain an understanding of what each ingredient should be and continuously analyze your given ingredients to those standards.
Gain an understanding of how those ingredients react during the mix, cook and pump
Gain an understanding of why the process steps are what they are.
Follow process steps.
Gain an understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Operate your process according to the rules of HACCP.
Document the Work Order and HACCP paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner.
Learn, operate and adjust multiple in-line pieces of processing equipment.
Ability to multi task multiple recipes and steps at the same time.
Understand, track and report manufacturing metrics.
Responsible to train future Kettle Operators
Education and/or Experience:Two year degree from college or technical school, two years of experience in a food related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
