Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for the efficient and accurate production of Foods, Soups and Sauce products, while maintaining superior quality standards that meet or exceed customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of what each ingredient should be and continuously analyze your given ingredients to those standards.

  • Gain an understanding of how those ingredients react during the mix, cook and pump

  • Gain an understanding of why the process steps are what they are.

  • Follow process steps.

  • Gain an understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

  • Operate your process according to the rules of HACCP.

  • Document the Work Order and HACCP paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner.

  • Learn, operate and adjust multiple in-line pieces of processing equipment.

  • Ability to multi task multiple recipes and steps at the same time.

  • Understand, track and report manufacturing metrics.

  • Responsible to train future Kettle Operators

Education and/or Experience:Two year degree from college or technical school, two years of experience in a food related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
