DAVID Corporation, a leading provider of Insurance and Risk Management software, is looking for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will be a member of the executive team and will be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of the Company’s marketing organization and activities including: corporate marketing, partner/channel marketing, product marketing, and product management.

DAVID Corporation is a fun and dynamic organization. We are all about the team, and success in this role relies on relationships, regular interaction and consistent communication with Sales, Client Services, Development and Operations.
Strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product marketing.
Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, tradeshows, online and in person events, content and collateral development,, analyst and market research as well as, website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis.
Create compelling value propositions, promotions and business cases for prospects based on a deep understanding of the insurance and risk management market and client objectives.
Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation and lead generation.
Work closely with Vice President of Sales to develop and manage lead generation programs, channel and partner strategies.
Oversee product management including conducting market and customer research for market and product requirements, and interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
Oversee product marketing including managing product launches, coordinating sales training, creating sales presentations and competitive analysis tools and providing general sales support.
Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances and close/grow major customer accounts.
Develop and manage the annual marketing department plan and budget.
Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events.
10 years marketing experience in comparable industries with minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
Substantial experience and a history of success in Marketing, and a deep understanding of sales principles in Enterprise software and in Insurance.
Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives. A proven history of providing personal leadership through example.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to drive results in a team oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced marketing activities (PR, Lead Gen, website, etc.)
Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.
Extremely effective public speaking skills and presence.
Exceptional writing skills.
Strong attention to detail. Ability to be the final set of eyes on all external facing communication, collateral, etc.
Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
Passion for excellence and being the best.
Experience with P & C Insurance software such as Claims Management and Policy Administration & Underwriting systems.
Bachelors in Marketing or Communication. M.B.A. preferred.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Genius email and marketing automation, Data.com, Google Analytics, Joomla website content management and WordPress.
This position is based in our Wakefield, MA office but will need to be able to travel to as needed for conferences, client visits, sales meetings, etc. We are only looking for local candidates.
