A unique, innovative and growing New York art company in our 7th year. We sell, lease & license the work of New York based emerging artists to individual and corporate clients, host unique and upscale art events, and help charities raise money with art.
We're driven by a passion for art, for artists, and for changing the world.
We have 5 internships available:
aspirants in art consulting, graphic / web design, film, social media / marketing, and journalism should apply.
Applicants must want to work very hard, learn a lot, and have a LOT of fun!

Responsibilities
art consulting (training) intern:
- art consulting training program
- help with coordinating art & charity events
- observe lead generation & client relations
- assist founders as required
graphic design intern:
- help to design invitations and collateral
- web design projects
- blog support
- e-commerce assistance
- motion graphics
- assist founders as required
film intern:
- film & edit weekly episodes of web show
- film & edit artist interviews
- film & edit art event videos
- assist with call times, spreadsheets, etc.
- assist founders as required
social media / marketing intern:
- further company's reach & visibility
- help coordinate online magazine efforts
- assist social media marketing
- create new marketing concepts to advance NY emerging artists
- assist founders as required
journalism intern:
- draft articles on assignment
- propose story ideas
- conduct interviews, original reporting
- post articles to web service
- promote articles via social media
- assist founders as required
Requirements
All applicants must be excited about fine art by NYC emerging artists, and motivated by excellence. Please specify in your cover letter which position you're seeking. Start and end dates are flexible based on your availability and some virtual work is permitted.
art consultant (training) intern:
- have a sales and/or art history background
- be outgoing (comfortable networking in both business and social settings)
- be available for special events (evenings)
- be thorough, show initiative
- be goal-oriented in sales to help artists
- be polished
- have a professional appearance
graphic/web design intern:
- have comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Suite
- familiarity with html, flash preferred
- be a team player
- be able to complete work on deadline
film intern:
- working knowledge of Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
- availability for evening shoots (usually Thurs. evening)
- film studies - can shoot, sound, edit, etc.
- fun to be around, positive attitude
- organized

social media / marketing intern:
- knowledgeable & efficient on social media platforms
- be outgoing (comfortable networking in both business and social settings)
- be a team player
