This role is responsible for creating, assemblage and maintenance of all construction documents and architectural detail. Tasks will include but not be limited to detail drafting, coordination of vendor designs and production submittals.
Assemble permits submittal packages and work to establish and improve upon reliable permit cycle times with multiple jurisdictions.
Track and approve all permit fees.
Execute effective and timely responses to jurisdictional redlines.
Identify opportunities for improved permit cycle times through relationship building, basic permits, early models and specs, and inevitable permit revisions.
Generate applications for all necessary permits required homes.
Schedule resources to pickup and delivery and payments related to all submittals.
Process receipts associated with each permit.
Scan and archive approved permit sets.
Assemble start packs for construction upon issuance of permits
Organize collateral for permit submittals including site plans, lot specific construction documents, engineering and trusses as well as energy calculations.
Support Permitting Manager as needed through the life cycle of each project.
Support Product Development Manager and other design resources with details
Source various details and method for new innovations.
Proficient with AutoCAD suite of tools
Past experience working with construction documents.
General understanding of wood framing construction.
Efficient and accurate drafting skills.
Detailed and organized systems for managing multiple projects
Ability to overcome obstacles to achieve results
