Manage the company’s 75mm diagnostics product line worldwide. Determine segmentation, targeting, and positioning and the resulting marketing mix. Partner with team members to develop plans, support sales channel, and ensure compliance.
1. Develop data-driven understanding of the business, including customer, competitor, industry, and regulatory trends. Use insights to facilitate product line strategic planning.
2. Build strong relationships with customers and understand the voice of the customer.
3. Champion product line growth by analyzing segmentation, targeting, and positioning and 4Ps (price, product, promotion, and place) to recommend growth strategies, including evaluating potential new channels and market opportunities; use data to redirect tactics as necessary.
4. Provide product management leadership and partner with other departments to identify and execute on evolutionary or revolutionary product or solution opportunities.
Experience and Skills Needed:
The ideal candidate has at least five years in a similar role including developing strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and executing tactical plans. He/she has a high sense of urgency and excellent communication and time management skills. He/she is detail oriented and has a commitment to accuracy and quality. He/she has the talent, commitment, and ambition to assume increasing levels of responsibility in the organization. Cross-functional team leadership experience strongly preferred. He/she must have proven ability to see new business opportunities, set and meet aggressive objectives, and develop strong working relationships.
Bachelor’s degree required; Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline preferred. M.B.A. preferred.
