Sr. Desktop Support Technician

Duarte, CA

3 - 6 months (Contract to hire)

**Client is looking for Sr. Desktop Support technicians with experience supporting C Level Executives (CEO, VP’s, high profile doctors and researchers​) providing white glove customer support. Strong MAC experience is MUST.**

VIP Support

  • Senior level resource with solid technical skills who will be supporting the CEO, VP’s, high profile doctors and researchers
  • Experience working with high level executives providing white glove customer support; Must take ownership of IT issues and help navigate the IT organization on behalf of the customer. Strong follow through and ability to act as a customer advocate
  • Business presentation; conducts themselves in a highly presentable and professional manner; ability to communicate effectively and convey technical terms/solutions/processes in layman’s terms to customers
  • Strong MAC OS experience
  • Issues resolving problems of a complex and rare nature that may not typically be encountered on a daily basis
  • Familiarity with networking and Information Security
  • Documentation experience
  • Certifications such as A+, Microsoft and MAC are highly preferred. College degree is also a nice to have.

  • Knowledge of Windows platforms, such as Windows XP/ Windows 7
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Outlook Email, including Outlook Client and Web Access
  • Antivirus, such as Symantec
  • Desktop Remote Management Tools, such as Dameware
  • Experience with Software Deployment Tools, such as Symantec Management Agent
  • Experience with Remote Network Connectivity Tools, such as VPN
  • Experience with desktop imaging tools
  • Experience with Active Directory user groups
  • Experience performing minor PC hardware repairs
  • Help Desk Ticketing Systems, such as Remedyforce
  • Experience with Android and iPhone
