DescriptionThe Actors Ensemble was created to provide performing artists (of all levels of ability) a safe place to try, fail and grow. Specifically, we collaborate with Consevatory's and University's by providing our On-Camera Workshops to their established curricula thus making sure all student-artists are fully prepared to tackle all media, not just theatre in today's highly competitive world! On-going classes are held in NYC.
Responsibilities*Assist in the end-to-end process from the creative pre-production meetings up to screenings, productions, etc.
*All applicants will need to attend meetings, be available for productions (theater and film),assist in all classes and workshops.
*Maintain weekly website updates.
*Mailings to colleges and university's are to be maintained.
*Maintain Social Media presence.
RequirementsAll applicants must have a thorough working knowledge of the process of film and theater (production) as well as a background in the performing arts, preferably acting.
*A college degree is preferred.
*Strong experience in Digital Videography, Filmmaking and Editing (Final Cut) is essential.
*Knowledge of Mac is mandatory.
*An ability to maintain a Social Media presence is required.
*Being Bi-lingual is a plus.
*Applicant must have a natural curiosity.
*Ability to ask questions and seek answers.
*Applicant must have a clear, intelligent and pleasant speaking voice (and presence) for the telephone, Skype or inter-personal meetings.
*An ability (or curiosity) to write for the camera or stage is helpful. Casting knowledge is helpful.
