DescriptionLVP INTERN VIDEOGRAPHER/ PHOTOGRAPHER I employs both technical and aesthetic knowledge and experience to operate broadcast quality field and studio video cameras, related audio equipment, lights, and still cameras to obtain recorded or live broadcast quality images and sound. Videographer is also responsible for the operation of broadcast quality audio and video editing equipment to produce final products by Lions Vision Productions.
In this role, you will be responsible for proper set-up, operation and maintenance of cameras and audio equipment. Previous experience in Video Production, Videography, Television or Film work is a Must. This position reports to the Production Manager. LVP video productions vary in length and concept. Productions include biography, documentary, seminars, events, and multi-camera, with many additional variations and concepts.
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the videographer is ultimately responsible for the video shoot, whether on location or at the Lions Vision Productions studios.
ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES (include by not limited to):
Film LVP events and produce promotional videos
Provide insight on documentary film shoot
Participating in weekly production meetings when requested (via conference call).
Remain abreast of technology directions, initiatives, and trends within media production.
Provide ideas, guidance and recommendations regarding film productions.
Follow production shoot list and itineraries.
Mentor and train support crew members.
Ability to lift, move and carry video equipment up to 50 pounds
Valid driver’s license.
Flexible schedule ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent (supplemented by technical or vocational school preferred)
3-5 Years experience with video production.
Willingness to learn advanced techniques with video camera and audio equipment.
Ability to work effectively in high pressure environments.
Ability to multitask effectively producing high quality outcomes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all team members.
Self motivated, self starter and takes initiative.
