DescriptionDo you live for the theater and live performances? Do you know what it takes to make a successful production run smoothly? Or maybe you have a unique interest in certain aspects of the behind-the-scenes action? Stage Left Entertainment is rapidly growing entertainment and Production Company based in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. With hundreds show attendees and booming private event bookings, we are truly the proving we know “Where Imagination Soars™!”
We source talent from all over to put on our high-quality productions and events. That said, we need more high performing team members to keep up with this growing demand. As a Production Management Intern, you will get a first-hand experience in managing our productions and shows from start to finish. You will also interface regularly with multiple departments and gain practical skills in a team-oriented and innovation-driven company.
Our ideal candidate(s) have strong interest(s) in set design, costuming, lighting design, script writing, and general stage management. If you enjoy facilitating all of the aspects that create an entertaining and well-put-together show, this may be the perfect position for you!
Responsibilities1. A background in Production Management, Theater Management, Business Administration, or other field related to your specific area(s) of interest.
2. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
3. Organized and ability to perform under time-sensitive deadlines.
4. Creative and flexible.
5. Team oriented individuals
Requirements1. Manage pre and post production tasks.
2. Manage audio/visual equipment and support.
3. If applicable, How to write captivating scripts and other short pieces.
4. Assist the Stage Manager and Executive Team.
