DescriptionThe Mental Health Association of Central Florida is a non-profit organization that aims to provide mental health services, support and information to the members of our Central Florida community. Our Connection Specialists/Clerical Interns field all incoming calls, complete referrals, research resources for consumers, educate the community about mental health, connect individuals to resources, provide support to the community, and more.
Our Fall internship is a semester-long commitment and runs from August 18, 2014-January 9, 2015. Each intern works a minimum of 2 4-hour shifts per week. Prior to beginning, newly hired interns are expected to complete 2 shadow shifts and attend a mandatory intern training.
