Description

Work directly with an author working on a series of books in personal development, relationship, parenting, and marriage. The Human Development Company has broken new ground regarding love, backed by scientific evidence. Looking for Psych Majors to assist in research, writing, editing, publishing, of books. Contact publishers, agents, do follow-ups. Work with volunteer readers to collate responses to manuscripts.

Responsibilities

Researching latest on positive psych, CBT, and other modalities - read manuscripts, read feedback from volunteer readers, research exercises to do with personal development, parenting, marriage, keep files organized, research agents and publishers interested in this genre.

Requirements

Majoring in Psych or related field, pioneering spirit, organized, good writing skills, researchers, good computer skills, Power Points, Excel, etc. 1 opening for a virtual assistant and 1 onsite assistant, who must be able to come to our office at least once a week - have own transportation.

Since you'll be working with new ideas, not mainstream ones, in order to get the most value out of this internship we recommend you consider a 2 semester commitment.
