DescriptionEldridge Overton Educational Programs an innovative educational service firm. We are seeking dynamic interns to actively engage with staff, business associates and clients. Our unique and highly selective internship program welcomes Interns wishing to engage in a meaningful work experience to apply. Our interns are respected members of the Administrative team. Interns participate in planning meetings and are expected to complete tasks and projects in their respective fields of study. Serious Interns are encouraged to apply and submit required documentation for review. Interns work in our student enrichment center which is located in Green Brook , NJ. ResponsibilitiesInterns will work under the direct supervision of the Founding Partner.
-Assist with intake paperwork (assessments, surveys, etc) of new clients. Intake assessments may be completed at our facility and other locations such as in-home or client's school)
-Serve as a liaison between our organization and families, schools, and community agencies. This will be via in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and letters.
-Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, including
but not limited to:
a) Participation in regularly scheduled intern training, parent conferences, and supervision meetings.
b) Attend related outreach events and workshops.
c) Involvement in outreach initiatives.
d) Involvement in community collaboratives.
e) Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
f) Data Entry and General Office duties may be assigned
RequirementsIf you are an undergraduate or graduate student looking to meet specific educational requirements in social work, social sciences, human services, or education , we encourage you to apply.
All majors will be considered, including Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, and Sociology.
Internships are available for credit or stipend.
