DescriptionThe intern is primarily responsible for writing semi-professional and eye-catching articles for LiMi,Inc.’s official blog, offering suggestions to international students (or expatriates in general) in the U.S. on dealing with issues like culture shocks, language barrier, relationship problems, unsatisfying social life, psychological issues including stress and anxiety, etc.
ResponsibilitiesConduct literature review on expatriates’ lives in the United States (international students, working professionals who came to this country for temporary jobs and new immigrants)
Researched relevant social, academic, mental issues they may have (e.g. educational or language barriers, social isolation, mental health condition and other related topics).
Summarize literatures, write reports and categorize them into our database.
Manage Social Media pages (Facebook, Wechat, Weibo, etc.) in Chinese and/or English, provide high quality posts
Explore new themes and relative topics to share ideas with the rest of the team
RequirementsEnrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in psychology-related majors
Enthusiastic about topics (expats, international students, mental adjustment)
Proficient in both Mandarin and/or English
Excellent writing and communication skills
Previous research and literature review experiences preferred, but not required
Ability to work alone as well as cooperate with others
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google doc
Social Media savvy, know how to attract audience
Exploratory and highly motivated, can go the extra mile to make things work
