DescriptionDue to the wondrous expansion that Asking Jude has undergone in the last year, working as a one-man team is no longer doable. Therefore, I'm offering internships to intuitive and insightful students seeking to pursue philanthropic endeavors.
As an intern, you will assist me in the completion of my frightfully overflowing inbox. It is with your help that we cannot only maintain and expand this compassionate community Asking Jude has created, but enable individuals to get the help they need in a reasonable time.
With the successful completion of Asking Jude’s internship program, interns will receive the following:
1. letter of recommendation
2. two or more hours of community service (dependent upon intern’s schedule)
3. proof of community service
4. recognition of internship on Asking Jude
Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org to embark on an exciting and compassionate path to internship. I look forward to working with you!
ResponsibilitiesThe length of an intern’s involvement in Asking Jude’s internship program is under the discretion of the intern. For three days out of the week, interns are responsible for answering two to five asks per workday. Interns may request greater amounts of workdays and/or asks to be answered, but that relies solely on any intern’s schedule.
At the end of each month, every intern must fill out a Monthly Internship Workday Request and send the form to Jude’s e-mail if he/she seeks to continue his/her internship. As well, all interns will receive asks, updates, and notifications through e-mail and must send any answered asks to my e-mail. Failure to answer a minimum of two asks per workday and/or inability to work three days out of the week may result in the dishonorary suspension of any given intern. Therefore, interns are urged to strongly consult their personal schedules before filling out Asking Jude’s Monthly Internship Workday Requests.
RequirementsInterns must acquire and portray the ability to exude compassion and understanding in a manner that is constructive for others. The communicative skills of Asking Jude’s interns must be advanced, with strong skills in writing and reading comprehension. The advice that is written by interns must be clear, concise, and, above all, helpful.
