DescriptionProject 1st Step, A Community and Human Services Center, Located in Inwood, NY, is looking for a few motivated Interns to assist in Outreach, engagement, assessment, orientation, intake and case management of clients at the center. The internship will involve hands on training under the supervision of a QHP along with other members of our clinical team.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Clinical team in performing outreach to the disadvantaged populations throughout the New York metropolitan area. Make and receive calls from referral sources that are affiliated with us and schedule them for various services. Lean to case manage those in need of assistance with Budgeting, appointments and goal setting to fulfill their needs.
RequirementsA willingness to learn about helping others, be computer savvy, Microsoft Office and other social media. College Student majoring in Human Services and or Mental Health Counseling, CASAC etc.
