DescriptionThe Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization representing hundreds of businesses and organizations, focused on helping members grow and succeed in Northeastern PA.
The role of the Government Affairs Intern is to work with the Chamber of Commerce and the Government Affairs Committee to drive the work plan for 2016.

Responsibilities-Manage work plan details, including the annual survey, hearings and forums,
-Create and Distribute e-updates.
-Prepare legislative topics for review.
-Help with the Annual Legislative Breakfast (occurs in fall semester).
Requirements-Must be have at least 4 semesters of coursework completed.
-Background in political science or related field and strong organizational skills are preferred.
