THE GIP FOUNDATION, INC. is a developing non-profit organization dedicated to the public with the specific purpose to uplift, empower, teach and support at risk female adults, teens and children so that they can become emotionally, physically, and financially self-reliant in order to become mindful contributors to their communities.

Founded by a single mother of three girls, passionate and motivated to encourage, foster and inspire "Girls." Mission to deliver life-changing programs to Teen Youth ages 11 – 16 years
“Mentoring Opportunities” for Young Women ages 16-24. These workshops use 4-parts (arts, health, purpose, & fellowship) & are lead by women passionate about their talents, share these assets in a designed skill-building curriculum.


Will be asked to:
Communicate via e-mail, phone, etc., to possible sponsors and set up meetings between them and the founder of GIP
Research sponsor opportunities in the local community and networking events for the promotion of the organization
Aid in the promotion of events as well as the organization in general
Judge whether or not the current marketing strategy or press release is effective.

This internship is unpaid however we can provide credit for courses.


Knowledge: Currently studying or has studied marketing, public relations, and/or communications; knowledge of basic administrative tasks, note-taking, organization, and e-mail correspondence.
Skills: a persuasive, succinct writer; excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills; critical thinking
Abilities: Able to assist in securing donations or researching possible sponsors; can use Microsoft Office Suite; is comfortable navigating the internet and calling/meeting people to promote the organization
Other Characteristics: creative and outgoing; can work in a team and independently; self-motivated; takes initiative
