Public Relations candidates should have a strong interest in fashion and entertainment culture. The ideal intern is web and computer savvy, informed about news and the blogosphere, a creative mind and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment. They must have strong communication skills and must be comfortable with interacting with stylists and talent with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Some interns may be asked to also work after usual work hours for assistance with industry events. Previous PR experience preferred.

To apply, you must be enrolled as a full time student (minimum 9 units/credits per semester), must have verification of college enrollment or be a recent college graduate as this is an unpaid internship. Applicants must be able to work a minimum of two full days a week (9:30 AM – 6 PM) with a full semester or 3 month commitment. Recent graduates along with applicants who are pursuing a degree in journalism, PR, communications, marketing, and fashion are encouraged to apply.

- Review magazines for editorial coverage
- Scan and create clips for all ran press credits and archive press clips
- Help with editor/influencer mailings, including seasonal lookbook distribution
- Update and maintain media database with current editorial contacts
- Help with special events
- Manage domestic and international sample trafficking using Fashion GPS
- Schedule messengers
- Assist stylists and editors with showroom pulls
- Assist in creating reports and research projects
- Help organize the showroom
- Draft press pitches
- General administrative duties including photo copying, department organization, press kit production, shipments, distribute magazines, expenses and mail distribution, etc

VIP candidates/Shorwoom must have excellent communication skills, be extremely organized, detail oriented, fashion forward and professional in appearance. They must be proficient with computers, have strong customer service skills, in addition to the ability to multi task. Candidates must also have a sense of urgency with all tasks and be able to thrive in a fast paced exciting environment. Some interns may be asked to also work after usual work hours for assistance with industry events. Interest in fashion and previous showroom and Fashion GPS experience preferred.

- Create new inventory and manage traffic of samples through Fashion GPS
- Merchandise the showroom
- Assist stylists with pulls and returns
- Schedule messengers
- Prepare and send packages using FedEx/UPS
- Help with special events
- Assist in creating reports, Google docs, and research projects
-Running samples to fittings and pick-ups/drop offs
- General administrative duties including photo copying, department organization, shipments, mail distribution, steaming, assisting with giftings, taking photos, running errands for the office, etc

Operations Candidates must have excellent organizational and time management skills. They must be proficient in computers, have strong e-mail and communications skills and the ability to multi-task. Candidates must also have a sense of urgency with all tasks and be able to thrive in a fast paced exciting environment. Need to be self-starter and motivated problem solver.

-Ensuring all employees have a managed work space as well as any supplies needed
-Managing the office supplies space and ensuring things are kept organized and supplies are re-ordered as necessary
-Receive phone calls, forward e-mails and keep incoming and outgoing mail organized
-General daily management of office varies
