Who is Chicks Connect?
Chicks Connect is a Global Community dedicated to assisting women with personal and professional growth and development. Started by Julie Muller in 2010, this Membership Community is based on supporting and educating women to live life on purpose while contributing to the growth and development of sister chicks. Chicks Connect is more than a membership, it is a movement toward bettering yourself personally and professionally using a mastermind format. Women benefit by joining local ‘Chick’ chapters, working with other women, learning from experts, participating in weekly discussions based on a particular life or business topic. Prior to starting Chicks Connect, Julie spent many years as a teacher and Administrator in the public school system. In addition to being the Founder and Chief Chick, she is an entrepreneur, coach, Senior Manager with SendOutCards, and most importantly, a mother and a loving wife.

Responsibilities

As our main Membership coordinator, you’ll design and document processes for membership management and customer service, manage the overall membership, welcome new members, support Chicks in starting their own chapters, and create tools and resources to make management of these processes easier and effective.

You’ll learn and improve your process documentation, customer service, customer relationships management, writing skills, problem-solving skills, project management, meeting leadership,
communication skills, and personal management skills. You’ll use Sendoutcards, Infusionsoft, Facebook, Twitter, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Chicks Connect Website, and more.

Requirements

This project and role is super important as amazing customer service is the foundation of a solid company and our clientele is what drives Chicks Connect. This is a membership community so members are our top priority. And you’ll be a key part of their experience.

Who is right for this program?
Applicants must exhibit clear and professional written and oral communication skills, be detail oriented, can work without direct supervision, and have the ability to follow through on a project from beginning to end. Your internship will include one or more of the following based on your career goals and the needs of the organization. No experience is necessary; we will train you and give you all the tools you need to be successful.

These internships are perfect for students or others (working or unemployed professionals, creatives, stay-at-home Moms and Dads, people exploring a career change, and anyone looking for work experience.)
