DescriptionKollegebound Learning is looking for a Public Relations (PR) intern to work on our team.
Founded in June 2010, Kollegebound Learning, LLC was created to place positive young role models in student’s lives who could serve as a tutor and mentor. Kollegebound Learning is located in the College Park, MD just minutes outside of Washington DC.
Our team consists of full-time teachers and current and recent college students who have mastered the subjects that we are now tutoring. As a result of our background, education experience, and age proximity with our students, Kollegebound Learning is able to effectively mentor students. We teach students how to replicate what we've done, which is essentially, how to be successful. We have a success rate of over 95% and have increased SAT scores by more that 350 points.

ResponsibilitiesProvide content for external newsletters
Develop content for TransElated webstore and blog
Assist with social media management
Manage and create blog postings
Assist in company event planning
Coordinate and manage company outreach to Media Outlets for press placement
Help to craft Press Releases
Assist with community outreach
Shoot photographs for internal communications which include newsletters, website, etc.
Monitor and report on traditional and social media conversations
Maintain the organization of media archives
Requirements• Be a self-started
• Be at least a sophomore in Undergraduate studies or currently pursuing a Master's degree
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Plus: Be familiar with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator
