PR Intern for Ouchi Gallery

No, not "ouch". Pronounced OOH-WOO-CH-I, Ouchi is Japanese for "home" or "house". Our gallery is named Ouchi because we display artwork by contemporary Japanese artists in a home-like setting.

We are looking for a PR/Communication intern interested in and knowledgeable about art who can talk about our artists & their work with visitors to the gallery, and perform a variety of other tasks related to publicity and social media.


Weekly update of social media pages
Design e-mail newsletters
Post opening reception events on various sites
Researching interest groups/organizations
Handle artwork


Please note: at this time, we are only able to accept interns who are currently enrolled in college or graduate school.
You should be able to work at least 2 days a week (Tuesday nights are a must, but you can choose between Sunday, Monday, or Thursday)

Beyond that, you should be:
-passionate about art
-punctual and responsible
-friendly and sociable
