DescriptionMills Public Relations in the Back Bay is hiring fall Public Relations Associates who want an opportunity to do something more than place calendar listings and call assignment desks to follow up on media advisory distribution.
Mills PR works with clients in industries that span from food service and transportation and professional services. Mills PR also does a great deal of work developing crisis communication strategies and working on community relations projects.

As a result, our interns get a wide range of experience in all of the different aspects of public relations and gain insight into the operations of an agency.

NOTE: PART TIME, 16-20 hours weekly between hours of 9-5, Monday-Friday (flexible schedule). THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION. Course credit available for students who work 20 hours per week.

RequirementsSmart, hungry and creative candidates sought. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Successful candidate must possess strong writing and editing skills, strong internet research/reporting skills, and demonstrated ability to develop highly engaging content for social media channel use.
Demonstrated ability to master assigned tasks quickly.
Ability to manage social media platforms through Hootsuite (Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, Instagram and You Tube
Required computer skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note), Evernote, Hootsuite, Salesforce and Word Press
Seeking, take initiative and get results. The ability to learn quickly is a must.
