ResponsibilitiesThe Public Relations Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Hamilton Development Partners Team in the implementation of PR Campaigns and programs; coordinate meetings with key public and private stakeholders, including scheduling, research and appropriate follow-up; research and prepare memos on assigned topics; other tasks as assigned.
Public Relations Interns will be assigned to project teams for various clients and initiatives, where they will be provided with a hands-on, real world learning experience.
RequirementsPublic Relations Interns should have flexible schedules, some knowledge/experience in the PR space and a strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to balance keen understanding and vision of the client's goals and the firm's strategies with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to pursuing them. Essential qualifications include: superior oral and written communications skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent telephone manner and basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet).
