The goal of EatDrinkJobs is to bring the food service industry job hunt into 2012 by creating an intuitive and easy job search experience. ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Public Relations and Strategy Intern for EatDrinkJobs, you support efforts to increase brand awareness and grow our user base. You need to be creative, strategic, a content creator, and an implementer.
You will work to help develop, execute, test and monitor effective PR and marketing campaigns, as well as promotions and channels to grow and diversify sources of traffic. This will include....
•Proactive and reactive pitching
•Media and industry influencer research
•Curation of media list
•Contribute to Media Plan development
•Outreach to media and industry influencers
•Creative content creation for social media (Twitter, Facebook, EatDrinkBlog)
The internship is 2 - 3 days a week in our Brooklyn office, for 3+ months. We are flexible on days/hours, and the length of the internship. You will report to the Social Media Manager, but will also work along side the CEO and COO daily.

•Proven skill of extracting pertinent information from internal and external resources to craft relevant and compelling communication.
•Experience with strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns
•Experience with social media marketing
•Build relationships with external partners, publishers and traffic sources
•Use creative and unconventional means to find untapped sources of traffic
•Measure success of campaigns with key performance indicators (KPI's)
•Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus, but not required
