DescriptionRosie Assoulin is a luxury women's fashion house based in Tribeca. All clothing and accessories are developed and produced in New York City. Rosie Assoulin’s first ready to wear collection, Resort 2014, was met with positive reviews by publications such as WWD, Vogue, and Elle Magazine. Rosie was also included in Forbes' 2014 edition of 30 Under 30.
Rosie's Spring and Fall 2014 collections were met with high praise from Style.com, and helped secure a nomination by the CFDA for the Swarovski womenswear award, as well as the International Woolmark Prize. Rosie's most recent collection, Resort 2015 has continued to keep her audience excited.
We are looking for PR interns to assist in maintaining all showroom sample inventories. Interns must be passionate about fashion; energetic, resourceful, reliable, detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic! We are looking for individuals with previous Fashion-PR internship experience.
First Responsibility: Screening all incoming Press requests and responding to emails in a timely manner.
Second Responsibility: Tracking samples to and from Editors at fashion publications.
Third Responsibility: Monitoring print and digital press for clippings.
We will provide interns with MTA compensation while working, as well as a $10/daily lunch stipend. We are also happy to comply with any necessary paperwork if interns would like to receive school credit.
Responsibilities-Managing the Press closet by keeping it organized, checking inventory, and managing all sample traffic
-Checking in and out Press samples for editorial shoots, stylists, events, etc.
-Maintain samples’ quality control in the showroom and press closet; ensure samples are steamed and in favorable condition
-Maintain press kits by updating files with the latest copies of recent editorial credits
-Search internet for items of note to forward to Press Director’s attention
Requirements- Must be available 4-5 days a week, 9:30AM-6PM
- Must provide own Laptop for daily use while in the office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous fashion PR experience, or similar internship completed.
