Description

Garment Machinery Company, Inc. has been selling, installing and servicing commercial laundry machinery in laundromats, hotels, nursing homes, academic institutions since 1939. We are looking for a variety of dedicated interns who can help us make a difference to the companies we serve.

Outreach, business development and account service of key accounts. Should love people and thrive on accomplishment in an entrepreneurial environment. Must supply your own laptop with current and legal software

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will bring an awesome can-do attitude, their own laptop with current/legal software and excellent written and verbal skills. They should have a solid understanding of marketing, public relations and/or social media.
Research and development of databases, client lists
Shadow key executives in prospecting, account service
Outreach and development of new client relationships
Selling of advertising, affiliate partnerships as well as social media and marketing services

Requirements

Self starter - works well independently to accomplish goals
People person - should be very social and fearless of reaching out to new people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Entrepreneurial spirit! Thrives on accomplishment
Strong understanding and interest in marketing and new media
Understanding of affiliate marketing a plus
Positive, professional attitude
