Description

We are a busy OBGYN practice in Fairfax County looking for an intern to manage social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. We are looking for someone to post updates on these sites on a regular basis, as well as help with marketing the practice to the general public. This job can be done from home and is flexible.

This is a work from home position. The position does not pay. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for internship credits or to boost a resume for college and/or graduate school. There is a possibility of getting paid (only if the performance is exceptional) at the end of the first 3 months.

Responsibilities

The intern will be expected to research articles and current events pertaining to health care and particularly, the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

The intern will also be asked to post various messages on facebook and twitter regarding new services that the practice offers. The goal is for messages to be posted in a manner that draws clients in to the practice.

Requirements

*Great communication skills
*Ability to conduct research to find articles and information to post on different websites
*Technically savvy and able to navigate Facebook and Twitter
*Quick turnaround time
*Creativity with regard to marketing ideas and strategies
