Description

Are you interested in working in Marketing, Publicity and Promotions for the entertainment executive, Television network and motion picture industry? The Front Page Firm, in Los Angeles, is seeking interns to assist with these key areas for our growing Publicity & Promotions. Our interns will have the opportunity to make amazing connections, which could lead to future job opportunities.

Responsibilities

The candidates will gain knowledge in promotions, publicity and marketing within the entertainment and film industry. They will learn how to work with newspapers, radio, online and social networking sites, organizations and retail outlets, in scheduling press, setting promotions, contests, theme nights, drawings and promotional giveaways. Interns will assist on-site at red carpet movie premieres, screenings, stunts and industry events and will learn to target, pitch and recruit an audience for advance screenings and see how this in turn generates word of mouth, promotional outreach and publicity. Interns will learn how a studio promotes a film on a grass-roots level by utilizing promotional merchandise. Interns will learn how to brainstorm ideas, create a game plan and then execute their ideas with a targeted strategy. Internship positions provide a small stipen. Our internships are a minimum of a 16-week commitment and approx. 20 - 24 hours per week. We are very flexible and will work around intern's schedule.

Requirements

No experience is necessary, but an interest in marketing, publicity and promotions is a must. A Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Film or Business related major is preferred, but not required. Additional desired characteristics include: a desire to learn, an outgoing and enthusiastic personality, basic computer skills, writing skills, research, punctual and responsible nature, strong communication skills and constant access to phone and email. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not necessary.
