Description

Agency seeks individuals for open summer internship positions in their Hospitality (Restaurants, Hotels & Nightlife) division. Candidates must either be currently attending college or have a college degree. Must have strong skills in social networking, generating viral awareness and the ability to multi-task among different agency responsibilities. Must have an excitement and eagerness to learn in the public relations and marketing fields as well as overall professionalism in their demeanor.

Responsibilities


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work closely with agency owner to gain significant experience in Hospitality PR & Marketing
· Prepare meeting agendas and client reports
· Press clippings containing client features/write-ups
· Create pitches surrounding specified venue promotions/events
· Conduct celebrity outreach offering comp’ed dinners for celebrities at specified venues
· Create agency marketing materials including proposals, decks and case studies
· Research media coverage and industry trends
· Develop creative marketing campaigns and fresh story ideas for clients
· Coordinate scheduling and logistics

Requirements

· Exceptional verbal and writing skills for pitches, press releases, media alerts
· Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong experience/knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
· Social Media Savvy
· Self-motivated, proactive, positive, results-oriented approach to work
· Must work well in a team environment but also work independently, meeting goals and deadlines with minimal supervision
