Internship Position Available: Marketing Administrative Assistant Intern

Responsibilities

The Marketing Administrative Assistant Intern will be responsible for assisting the Public Relations Director in administrative development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans for number of business lines. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding marketing channels/methodologies to the professional community and prospective consumers.

Assist with business development per blueprint and marketing strategy
Assist with visits and/or arranging meetings with persons responsible for or in a position to refer clients, this includes private, public and non-profit organizations
Utilizes monthly marketing and public relations calendar to coordinate activity with national focus
Arrange presentations of services at staff meetings at affiliate and referral centers
Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events representing our services. Network with others in the industry to develop new business opportunities.
Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, networking, internet, social media, and develop new methods of marketing
Other duties as assigned or on a need basis.

Requirements

Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment
Meet deadlines and have excellent time management skills
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills
Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, pages, keynote and Internet required
Ability to learn other software programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a remote environment, yet stay connected via Slack, GotoMeetings, etc.
Graphic Design skills a plus (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
