DescriptionResponsibilities Public Relations: help create and implement marketing and communications plan, develop promotional opportunities for events, write and distribute press releases.
Marketing Communications: write, research, and help prepare monthly eNewsletters, assist with copy for brochures, website, and other promotional materials.
Database Management: Assist in ongoing maintenance and enhancement of current contact management data & press lists for targeted markets.
ResponsibilitiesHours: Minimum of 15 hours per week
RequirementsQualifications GPA: 3.0 or better with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The intern must be able to interact with a wide range of people from the arts/cultural, business, civic, academic, and public relations communities in an articulate and professional manner.
Must be organized and able to multi-task and work independently; must be responsible and on-time.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required, some website management experience preferred. Some graphic design experience and/or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite recommended.
