Description

We are a strategic marketing and public relations agency that works with luxury lifestyle clients worldwide. We are looking for a public relations intern to work approximately 10 hours per week. The position will change from internship to permanent with the right person.

Responsibilities

The candidate must demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn the business of each client, work within our team structure, manage deadlines and provide support where needed. Intern duties include: drafting and editing press materials, building media lists, researching client industries, monitoring news coverage for our clients and compiling reports, assisting with social media programs, and sending out pitches to select news media under direction of a supervisor. Interns participate in agency brainstorming sessions and team meetings.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision. The best candidate will show initiative and offer creative ideas.
