DescriptionOur internship program is designed to give college students the opportunity to work in the exciting and fast-paced profession of public relations. By fully immersing interns into the everyday working environment of a public relations firm, they’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and truly learn the business of public relations. Our interns gain valuable insight from one-on-one and group meetings with all levels of employees through brown bag lunches, brainstorming session and company education sessions.
ResponsibilitiesThe Fusion Intern experience incorporates all the responsibilities of our Account Coordinators, including:
• Media Relations – database management, research, media tracking, participate in meetings and media interviews, prepare briefing documents for clients, assisting in special projects, etc.
• Client/Account Exposure – involved in daily account activities, client interfacing, conduct industry/competitor research, tradeshows and awards research, prepare meeting agendas, participate in creative brainstorming sessions,
compose status reports, etc.
RequirementsCandidates seriously considered for this position will be enthusiastic, creative multi-taskers who are eager to learn, possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrate a keen interest in working with the media and performing well under deadlines.
