Description

We are seeking interns to assist with the marketing and PR campaign of an extraordinary viral-rich stage show. We are creating an amazing light suit and stage show set for the electronic music artist named Hyper Harp, www.hyperharp.com. This includes the merging of various technology such LEDs, sensors, MIDI, and other elements with large theatrical props such as movable wings and a giant eye ball projector. You will help to bring international awareness to this eye-appealing act, including extensive YouTube campaign, as well as other social media outlets. At the same time, you will be involved with a powerful marketing platform that can be used to break new artists.

We work out of our downtown Chicago based studio, although there is much opportunity for you to work virtually as well. Flexible hours, including working evenings. There is the direct opportunity to continue working with us beyond your internship, under a full time position as Hyper Harp gains market traction and our company takes on more and more projects for other performing artists.

During your internship, you will be eligible to earn commissions in connection with the many revenue streams you are assisting in developing. Full time positions will become available- we strive to hire interns who have demonstrated solid performance.

Responsibilities

You would be involved in the following activities:
Assisting in the planning of the marketing and PR campaign
Directly involved with the implementation of the campaign
Optimizing our strategy for each of the major social media platforms
Contacting media
Contacting event planners
Orchestrating promotional teams in cities and college campuses

Requirements

General marketing skills
Familiarity with YouTube and other social media platforms
Understanding of PR campaigns
Organizational skills
Familiar with business applications such as OFFICE Suite

Skills

Required - Social Media Development, B2B Marketing, B2C marketing, Strategic Public Relations Planning
Preferred - B2B Sales, Public Relations Skills
