Chicago Scene is a multi-media marketing company leveraging print, video, digital and experiential channels with an amazingly intimate connection to the city and our followers at a hyper-local level. Chicago Scene's followers are educated, upscale, urban-dwelling Chicagoans that are highly socially active, "cultural explorers" aged 25-49 years old.

Responsibilities

- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Works well individually as well in a team environment
- Internet and social media knowledge and experience
- Interact with all the departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitoring account activities; and managing production activities
- Maintain up-to-date customer and business records

Requirements

-Spring/Fall 2016 graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing

We are offering you an internship that will strengthen your experience in the business world by providing an opportunity for you to brainstorm with executives, work with senior management and shadow other jobs at Chicago Scene DMC. This is a unique internship opportunity that involves you to help a startup company grow into something highly successful.
You will be part of a 5 intern team tasked with startup and growth of a wholly owned subsidiary of the city’s most well known nightlife and entertainment publication and large scale event producer. You will be lead by the company’s owner and managing partner in the creation of this subsidiary and will learn all of the finer points of creating a business from nothing more than an idea.
