Description

One of our clients is looking to fill an internship role as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern.

Job Summary:
Part time college intern to support elements of marketing communications, sales and product development. Individual will be provided an opportunity to work in a variety of functional areas and assigned key projects based upon their skill set and experience.

Definition of skills needed:
Aggressive, outgoing and an assertive winner’s attitude and a passion for business, marketing or sales
Can work independently while being creative in how to attract new customers or leads

Highly proficient in computer programs and digital worlds:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint—these are a must
Photoshop, Wordpress, video editing—these are nice to have
Can adapt on the fly to different needs of various constituents
Strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills. Ability to comprehend and evaluate facts and arrive at a decision consistent with company standards and procedures within authority granted.

Working Conditions:
Remote Work is OK
Telecommute/Skype is OK

Nature of Supervision Received:
Work is performed under the supervision of CEO
Work will be conducted independently within authority limits and experience level.

Key Intern Projects:
Working on new services scope, literature, marketing plans, etc.
Assisting with enhancing our Facebook and internet presence
Actively seeking new leads/customers
Communicating with our customers on new services and programs

QUALIFICATIONS:
CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT SEEKING AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE OR AN MBA WITH EMPHASIS IN BUSINESS, SALES, MARKETING OR ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
A PASSION FOR SALES OR COMMERCIAL CLEANING IS A PLUS!

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and contributing to public relations, sales and marketing activities
- Interact with internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitoring sales activities; and managing production activities
- Coordinate with news media as assigned, in development of appropriate news stories
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records

Requirements

- Amazing sales personality and go-getter attitude!
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media.
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- An innovative self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
