AT JET SET CANDY, TRAVEL IS OUR WORLD. Our passion fueled us to develop the first premium line of travel souvenirs so we could collect our global adventures. We are launching our collectable, destination-specific range of travel charms and jewelry this fall both online as well as in retail stores. We are located in the heart of Soho in an exciting office and are currently looking to grow our team.

We are seeking a part-time Public Relations Intern at our exciting new travel-related jewelry start-up.

Strong interpersonal and writing skills and and understanding of general public relations practices are a must. We are looking for a self-motivated idea generator who can help us target the right celebrities and press outlets that best fit our brand and identity. The chosen intern will help to communicate directly with our public relations agency, manage and track inventory for p.r. giveaways, manage and update press kits and photos and also facilitate with fulfilling any requests for these materials. This intern candidate will be responsible for press and celebrity mailings as well as helping to coming up with out-of-the-box ideas for mailers and stories. Access to a laptop is preferable. The right intern candidate will show an interest in travel as well as the fashion and jewelry industries and will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Relations for Jet Set Candy.
