DescriptionWhile much of your internship work would be done remotely (online marketing and contact with customers, weekly Skype check-ins, etc), we do have occasional events and promotions in the Washington DC and/or Baltimore area. It'd be great to have someone local in either area that could come help out with events and possibly even do on-the-ground campaigns from time to time.

Our digital marketing services help businesses grow. We offer mobile app development, website design, social media, and customer engagement programs to help clients reach new customers and make current customers repeat ones. ResponsibilitiesThe Public Relations Intern duties include writing PR materials or marketing copy including press releases, website copy, coordinating program books and specialty publications, managing PR archives and photo resources, coordinating guests for live radio broadcasts, preparing media kits, planning special events or promotions, working with other departments to improve communication efforts, interacting with outside design vendors and members of the media, assisting with social media outreach efforts with possible opportunities for filming, interviewing and editing video, and collecting research and assisting the C1st and its clients overall marketing and PR campaigns.
RequirementsCommunication degree preferred
Experience with PR outreach
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media.
Knowledge of communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
An innovative self-starter with problem-solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
Be able to help with events and campaigns in the DC and/or Baltimore area
