Description

I run a small public relations firm in DC that aims to get earned media placements and effect positive change for the Democratic Party, as well as progressive non-profit and advocacy groups, including the Sierra Club, and Planned Parenthood. Because the firm is small, you'll have a front row seat to all the exciting and expert work we do to promote our clients, which are some of the best groups around.

Responsibilities

The intern - based in DC or anywhere in the country - will work a few hours a week as assigned on special projects, including researching media opportunities for clients, compiling media clips for specific campaigns, and assisting in building press list and press outreach. This is a substantive position.

Requirements

Must have an interest in politics and public relations, solid writing skills, and be a news junkie.
