DescriptionA NYC based fashion house is seeking an intern to assist in-house publicist in the following assignments:
Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
Collecting and analyzing media coverage;
Assisting in the production of publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia for social media;
Maintaining and updating information on the organization's website and social media;
Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as IG, Twitter and Facebook;
Assisting in market research.
This is a perfect internship for student candidates who are looking to build up their own press kit and credits while in school. This is an unpaid internship (we cover all expenses of travel, accomodations or material production). The candidate must be able to work independently and from remote location and able to communicate through email and video conferencing.
RequirementsStudent must be committed to at least 10 hours per week.
Student must be in his/her sophomore year or higher.
Internet proficiency a must.
Above average written and communication skills.
