GrindTime Sports is a sports agency for young athletes wanting to establish a solid foundation for athletic scholarships. Our clients range from college-bound athletes to younger athletes just starting out in their athletic careers. GTS's full services consist of recruiting guidance, sports performance, competitive leagues and competitions, athlete showcase events and multiple training camps.

This internship offers you true collaborative input and innovative execution of your own developed strategies.

Role and Expectations
Our Recruiting Correspondent acts as a liaison between GTS’s Senior Recruiting Coordinator and an athlete’s family. The role is established as the secondary line of communication for recruits throughout their recruiting process. Your ability to effectively communicate and understand processes is essential to your success in this role. The position allows for candidates to develop methods that work best for them. Creative input and innovative problem solving is encouraged. GTS is seeking an individual who doesn't need to be told what to do. Rather they can set goals themselves then come up with their own strategies in achieving those tasks.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Fully understand and inform recruits of the scholarship
- Manage recruit contact information
- Maintain direct communication with prospective families
- Research administrative opportunities
- Contribute innovative strategies and procedures

This is not an internship that gives you tedious tasks for credibility. It is a true opportunity to implement the knowledge you have learned during your undergrad. Focusing your skills and ambitions within a position that offers you creative control. You will define your professional experience and competencies that future employers are seeking. Earning hands on experience and a letter of recommendation deserving of acknowledgment.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Ability to manage numerous accounts at once
- Well organized and capable of multitasking
- Can effectively work with little supervision
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial insight
- Host leadership qualities
- Preferred majors in Marketing, Business, Public Relations & Communications (not required)
