DescriptionAnonemis Records is seeking public relations interns that must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen sense for what makes compelling news. A PR intern is responsible for juggling multiple projects simultaneously, such as planning marketing events, writing press releases, and creating media kits and digital campaigns. Internships is ongoing, and involve industries ranging from music and entertainment to beauty and technology
Responsibilities• Planning marketing events,
• Writing press releases
• Creating media kits and digital
• Creating Promotional Material
• Drafting pitches to promote clients and/or events to gain media exposure
• Corresponding with reporters/editors/producers
• Facilitating interviews
• Coordinating events
• Tour Press Pitching
• Be incredibly passionate and interested in the Music Industry
• Be familiar with Music Industry related Media Outlets including blogs, magazines etc
RequirementsIt is crucial that a PR intern acts professionally, understands strict deadlines and knows how to prioritize work. PR interns are organized, self-aware workers who answer client questions, solve problems creatively, use social media responsibly, and listen intently to advice and direction given by agency executives.
Intern candidates must have good communication/people skills, strong writing skills, be comfortable speaking on the phone, creativity, and have a genuine interest in public relations. Recent graduates (with a degree in PR, communications or marketing) or current students studying PR, journalism, marketing communications, or communications are preferred.
