DescriptionGirls Adventures TV is exactly what the name say. A cutting edge Youtube channel concept geared towards fun, educational, and adventurous ways of getting your kids off their iPad, out of the TV, and out doing something social. Hosted by Adajah (11) , Khadijah (9), Mariah (6) and Ava (4). These girls will show their peers how to develop healthy social skills, have fun, and everything else to empower adolescent to develop and express their strengths.
We are seeking a PR rockstar who is passionate about enhancing the lives of our children. Someone who is creative, good at coming up with ideas — willing to take an idea and run with it without a lot of micro-managing, has tons of enthusiasm for what they are doing and is always looking for what we can do next. Must have a nice and friendly personality. The PR/Journalist Intern role is exciting and will play a crucial role in setting and overseeing our Youtube channel strategy to reach more subscribers so we can help more children develop themselves into productive members of society.
Responsibilities• Social Media Marketing: Assist with developing comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase brand visibility, brand engagement, brand voice, and traffic across all “Girl Adventures TV” social media handles.
*You are the voice and creator of information dispersed on all social networks, delivering fresh, unique and creative social media content for all platforms.
*You will be in charge of growing and engaging audiences across all social media platforms, always on the lookout for new and creative ways to build a closer connection with our fans and new ones, and strengthen our brands.
*You will share insights about trends, feedback, and engagement around our brands through daily updates, and more detailed weekly reports.
*You will work cross-functionally with the Producer, Marketing Specialist, and the internal Creative team to establish and build a content calendar that excites our existing community members while grabbing the attention of others.
*You will brainstorm innovative social promotions and contests as you constantly engage and learn from the communities.
• Drafting press releases and pitch emails.
• Establishing and managing relationships with bloggers and social media influencers to get involved in supporting our efforts.
• Creating relationship with brands to receive in-kind gifts.
• Assisting with client presentations.
• General office administration tasks such as managing the subscription database and sorting mail.
RequirementsA candidate must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited US university or college with a sophomore, junior or senior classification. English, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications majors will be given priority. The internship program must be for college credit.
General Information: This is an unpaid internship. Interns are expected to work between 16 and 20 hours a week during the internship period. Interns must receive academic credit from the intern’s college or university. All interns are subject to the applicable, general rule of conduct.
