DescriptionWe are a production company who specializes in producing and cultivating large than life events.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized and resourceful intern to help build our online presence through social media and email campaigns including blogging, updating Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube sites. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience using social media, creative and systematic when interacting with online communities and building relationships. You will need to be extremely comfortable with working within the LGBTQ community. If you are not, DO NOT APPLY. You will be collaborating with the founder to build the content, so communication is crucial for this role. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are studying or have experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and/or similar.
Responsibilities-Creating compelling content, visual design and draft copy for social media platforms, blog and website.
-Monitor trends in social media, that correlate to our company and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content that will increase word of mouth and client base.
-Organize and help create systems for our social media content.
-Plenty of additional opportunities in cross-functional interactions regarding public relations, photography/videography and general marketing.
-Drafting analytical reports about our social media progress.
Requirements-Knowledge of leading social media platforms and viral content, as well as knowledge of emerging trends and technologies.
-Has a journalistic instinct to gather the who, what, why, when and where during research and writing content, natural inclination to be a story-teller.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Passion for creating systems and is very organized.
-A natural passion helping others.
-Obtaining a degree in a communications, public relations, advertising or related field.
-Must be comfortable using major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, Tumblr, YouTube).
-A positive attitude, sense of humor and naturally creative.
