TYPE OF FIRM: A small, fast-paced public relations/marketing communications firm with an excellent reputation that will offer an intern a high sense of responsibility and an abundance of hands-on experience. CPC works with high-energy environment, interesting and diverse clients. Great opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of marketing communications from savvy professionals.

Interns will work on a wide range of projects including, but not limited to special events planning, writing press releases, pitching media, social media experience assisting in the development of marketing campaigns targeting diverse multicultural markets, and internal company development projects. Interns will be exposed to clients in a number of different fields including Academia; Healthcare; Financial Service; Non-Profit mission focused organizations.


LOCATION: One McKinley Square (Downtown Boston, near Fanueil Hall and the Aquarium).
Across from the Marriott Custom House.
MBTA: Blue Line – Aquarium
Orange Line – State St.
Green Line – Government Center

Responsibilities

• Event postings/tracking
• Create event calendar listing
• Create Press Releases
• Assemble Press Kits
• Compile client clipping/media placement listings
• Update Social media and more

Requirements

Student must be a junior, senior or graduate student
• Strong oral, independent, dedicated worker and writing skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Windows and Social Media (facebook, twitter, Linkedin)
• Self-Starter, enthusiastic, highly motivated, positive attitude, flexible
• A minimum time commitment of 24 hours/week for full semester

Preferred - Article Writing, Archival Research
