DescriptionYOakleyPR is looking for a creative, team-oriented project management intern to lead a group of marketing/public relations interns from project conception to implementation in an effort to generate nonprofit client leads and deliver on our mission to empower nonprofit organizations in need of public relations, social media and online marketing support services.
You will have the opportunity to work both independently and on a team and communicate client needs to the team.
The ideal candidate for this role must have experience with nonprofits, management/leading teams, and have an extensive understanding of online/email/social media marketing and communication planning.
Lead a team of 4-6 interns in implementing communications campaigns for various nonprofit clients
Contribute to integrated marketing communications campaigns for registered nonprofits and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations by analyzing, reviewing, and reporting on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and help evolve strategy
Prepare project plans and software documentation guides as-needed
Train interns in marketing-related programs such as Google Adwords, Hootsuite, and MailChimp
Administer bi-monthly performance evaluations to team members
Current graduate student or college graduate
Skills required: nonprofit experience, management experience, marketing experience
Skills preferred: Google Adwords, Hootsuite, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), B2B Marketing, B2B Sales, Networking, Canva
Up-to-date LinkedIn profile
Familiar with Google Drive and Google Hangouts
Excellent time management skills
Be able to participate in the internship program for six (6) or more months
