DescriptionWe are currently looking for an individual to work on our team as part of our Business Marketing Administrative team as a Bilingual: (Spanish to English Interpreter) Public Relations Coordinator . Our 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization (www.libertyrun.org) is dedicated to providing a number of social, mental and physical support to veterans. A volunteer position to start, the Bilingual PR Coordinator would work within the administrative scope the Liberty Run Foundation business operations. A vital part of our mission, the administrative team supports the Spanish community outreach mission and all related operation and marketing that are the key to our success.
ResponsibilitiesInterns will be expected to maintain a planning log with ongoing task management list. Interns will be attached to an lingual program where veteran mission literature needing translation will be processed so Spanish reading and speaking family members can be comprehend it's content. You will assist in event planning presentations, budget building process, as well as writing articles on our Blog, Facebook page, and web based media sites. Compose and coordinate email blast of the quarterly newsletter to our subscribers. Business marketing planning would include the scope of events sponsored by the organization to raise funds and awareness as well as events that support our veteran programs. Travel may be required on occasion and you will be compensated and this position will become permanent full time position for the right candidate.
RequirementsA volunteer position to start, the Bilingual: (Spanish to English Interpreter) Public Relations Coordinator would be working in relation to the operational element and would be involved with managing other facets that include marketing, communications, budgeting, and administrative processes to eventually be evaluated for a full time position. In addition to business operations planning, experience in administrative support, ideally with international students in an educational setting, Proficiency in Spanish and English speaking and writing with the ability to work independently. Great organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent computer skills, experience with on-line marketing tools and social media (ie. updating websites, creating email newsletters, etc.). Preferred skills include ability to multi-task and make good decisions, and some market evaluation and strategy planning desire will make this a fun experience and will prepare the right candidate for a full time position with our Business Operations program. Bilingual: (Spanish to English Interpreter) Public Relations Coordinator has to have good Bilingual social media skills to help with marketing, advertising, and public communications with good verbal and written skills very important. Creative writing perspective, and experience also important.
