Description

KCL Publishing was started by Carrie M. Pennington, Amber L. Graham, and Karen K. Hipp when they were discussing the possibility of publishing their own work. An idea to start a company geared towards writers where the start up costs would be low and there would be no need for an agent is what sparked this company. Our partners are authors so they care about your personal success, not just the company's. KCL Publishing offers a variety of services for print and electronic publication. The company is driven towards helping authors new and already published reach their dreams of publication and success.

Internship positions with KCL Publishing are unpaid to give real world experience in a professional setting working with writing, marketing, and communications. These are most relevant to the Publishing Industry but can apply to any media and communications business setting. All KCL Publishing Interns are initially contracted for a 90 day, probationary trial period. At the end of the trial period, if the Intern is meeting the requirements of the job well then the company will provide them with a one year contract. Upon completion of the one year Internship, KCL Publishing will provide their Intern with formal letters of completion as well as providing reference and recommendation to the Intern for future job endeavors. KCL Publishing expects their interns to be focused, driven, dedicated, passionate, and hardworking. An Internship with KCL Publishing gives an intern a chance to help a growing, small, Indie Publishing create a stronger foothold in the industry while gaining real world experience in a business setting. This is ideal for anyone seeking a career in Publishing, Writing, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
